Become engaged with every student, every day by flipping your classroom. See the results in student learning comprehension, retention, and engagement from five teachers. Participants will learn how to quickly, and very easily, create their own video lessons, as well as receive formative assessment feedback from their students, even before they walk into their classrooms. They will feel connected to their students in ways that are not possible in the traditional classroom lecture format. BYOL: Laptop with browser, wifi capability and external webcam.

In this session we will explore why blogging is transformational and will walk you through setting up your own free class blog using Kidblog.org. Special attention will be paid to privacy and safety online. BYOL: Laptop with browser and wifi capability.
