The presenters will model learning stations using technology as a means to differentiate and support all learners. With the emphasis on differentiated instruction using technology, teachers can take into account students' different skill levels and interests. The learning stations modeled in these sessions will be: Close Reading, Vocabulary and Academic Language Development, Listening and Speaking, Written Expression and Evaluating Apps. This session is perfect for teachers with just a few tablets for your classroom. BYOD: Tablet (Apple or Android)

nABLEing All Learners: Apps as Transformational Technology

This session focuses on frameworks to help educators choose technology that meets the needs of a diverse student population. App selection is approached through a framework (nABLE) based on the SAMR model and Universal Design for Learning principles. The apps and accessibility features discussed in this session can benefit all learners, including those with disabilities, struggling readers and English Language Learners. BYOD: iPad tablet.
